We have mechanisms to help you keep unwanted users at bay. Although we inspect the quality of our site regularly to maintain good standards, it is never possible to know the intention of a user.
Do not worry! If you come across a buyer/seller, who is engaging in unacceptable conversation or using derogatory language, you can instantly block the user chat on Localbook. This will ensure his messages don’t reach you again. If the user has your phone number, block his WhatsApp and calls. Alternatively, you may report the user.
Do you no longer want to receive messages from a user? No issues, simply block the user and save from unwanted chats.
Logon to your Localbook account, go to "My Account" page, click on the link "Messages" in the menu list, you can see the chat details under "thread" section. and click on "Block User". icon and save from unwanted chats.
If you believe you have been a victim of a fraud or a scam from a seller on Localbook, please make sure to immediately contact the concerned local police authorities to inform them as they would be able to inform you of the steps you need to take.
Please also contact our customer service team, so that we can look into the matter and de-activate any account that may have been used for this purpose. Our team would also be able to assist the concerned official authorities should they require information about an account or account holder involved.
